For the second time, FDM-NDS is announcing the FAIR Data and Software Award Lower Saxony<\/strong> and warmly invites you to submit your contributions by July 19, 2026<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

What are we looking for?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We are seeking published datasets and software that adhere to the FAIR principles<\/a><\/strong> or the FAIR4ResearchSoftware principles<\/strong><\/a>. We welcome submissions from all disciplines \u2013 whether from the humanities and social sciences, life sciences, natural sciences, or engineering. Show us your outstanding data and software projects!<\/p>\n

Who can submit entries?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Submissions of publications can be made by all scientists who are members or affiliates of a university in Lower Saxony or who work at a non-university research institution in Lower Saxony.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the prize?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The best data publication and the best software publication will each be awarded \u20ac4,500. The award ceremony will take place during the Data Days Niedersachsen<\/a><\/strong> on November 25, 2026, in Oldenburg, where the winners will have the opportunity to briefly present their work.
