Establishment of Basic Skills in RDM for Universities in the “Basic Development” Category<\/h3>\n

In Pillar 2, a total of 10 universities are supported in establishing the necessary foundational aspects of RDM locally. This is carried out by a designated individual, acting as a multiplier, stationed at each location.<\/p>\n

Relevant aspects include:<\/p>\n

– Development of governance structures, including institutional research data policies
– Consultation and coordination of RDM on-site
– User-friendly RDM portals
– Provision of basic technical infrastructure<\/p>\n

The activities in Pillar 2 are closely linked with the work of the FDM-ndsHAW<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/span> project, as well as the work in Pillar 1.<\/p>\n

Pillar 2 is coordinated by HAWK \u2013 University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim\/Holzminden\/G\u00f6ttingen<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. The coordination office focuses on establishing central structures, providing RDM expertise, and supporting and training the multipliers.<\/p>\n
