The following position, initially limited to two years, is available at the Technical Information Library (TIB) in Hanover at the earliest possible date:
Doctoral candidate / Software developer for Aerospace Knowledge Graph / Knowledge Base (m/f/d)
(E 13 TV-L, part-time with 29.85 hours/week)
Your tasks:
- Supporting the development of an ontology for aerospace technology
- Developing programmatic and graphical user interfaces for interaction with the aerospace knowledge database
- Establishing security protocols for users of the knowledge database
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines for the provision of the knowledge database
- Developing software for extracting relevant knowledge from research data and publications
- Integrating external knowledge infrastructures such as ORKG and Wikidata
- Collaborating with aerospace engineers to maintain the content of the knowledge database
- Contributing to the creation of scientific publications about the knowledge database
