The Technical Information Library (TIB), Lab Research Data Services, in Hanover is seeking to fill the following two-year fixed-term position in the project “Nds-WiDax – Interactive data exchange between research data repositories using knowledge graphs in Lower Saxony” starting on May 1, 2026:
Scientific Data Steward
(E 13 TV-L, part-time with 25.87 hours/week)
Your tasks
- Selection and quality assurance of (meta) data collections in the newly established Nds-WiDaX knowledge graphs
- Review and analysis of published research data from the fields of technology and natural sciences according to FAIR data principles and incorporating available terminologies and ontologies in the TIB Terminology Service
- Collaboration on the technical development of a networked knowledge graph and its data basis
- Close collaboration with the TIB Leibniz Data Manager as a technical and content-related starting point
- Project collaboration, in particular internal and external presentation of project results in regular meetings and scientific conferences
