FAIR Data and Software Award Lower Saxony

For the first time, FDM-NDS is announcing the FAIR Data and Software Award Lower Saxony and warmly invites you to submit your contributions by August 4, 2024!
What are we looking for?
We are seeking published datasets and software that adhere to the FAIR principles or the FAIR4ResearchSoftware principles. We welcome submissions from all disciplines – whether from the humanities and social sciences, life sciences, natural sciences, or engineering. Show us your outstanding data and software projects!
Who can submit entries?
Submissions of publications can be made by all scientists who are members or affiliates of a university in Lower Saxony or who work at a non-university research institution in Lower Saxony.
What is the prize?
The best data publication and the best software publication will each be awarded €3,000. Additionally, a digital badge will be awarded. The award ceremony will take place during the FDM-NDS annual event on November 13, 2024, in Hanover, where the winners will have the opportunity to briefly present their work.
