Pillar 2
Establishment of Basic Skills in RDM for Universities in the “Basic Development” Category
In Pillar 2, a total of 10 universities are supported in establishing the necessary foundational aspects of RDM locally. This is carried out by a designated individual, acting as a multiplier, stationed at each location.
Relevant aspects include:
– Development of governance structures, including institutional research data policies
– Consultation and coordination of RDM on-site
– User-friendly RDM portals
– Provision of basic technical infrastructure
The activities in Pillar 2 are closely linked with the work of the FDM-ndsHAW project, as well as the work in Pillar 1.
Pillar 2 is coordinated by HAWK – University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen. The coordination office focuses on establishing central structures, providing RDM expertise, and supporting and training the multipliers.
