FDM-NDS Event Portfolio
This event portfolio is compiled by all members of the FDM-NDS State Initiative. It is supported by a cross-functional task force that collaboratively develops the topics, formats, visual elements, and promotional materials for the events. The goal is to offer representatives of universities and research institutions in Lower Saxony a diverse range of advisory, exchange, and event formats on the topic of research data management.
In addition to the existing view, events can be filtered by various criteria, including primary target groups, formats, and the five overarching thematic areas:
- Train-the-Trainer Programs
- Implementing RDM at the Institution
- Tools
- Ethical and Legal Considerations
- Day-to-Day Research
At the bottom of the page, you’ll find two contact forms—one for Train-the-Trainer workshops and one for submitting requests; further details are provided with each form. We look forward to our joint sessions and to exchanging ideas.

Would you like to participate in the next Train-the-Trainer workshop?
The FDM-NDS state initiative offers a “train-the-trainer” workshop on research data management at least once a year in collaboration with the FDM networks of the northern German states. Representatives from universities and research institutions in Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein can use this contact form to let us know if they would like to see additional Train-the-Trainer workshops in German or English. As soon as we have received sufficient feedback, we will work to schedule additional workshop dates and notify all interested parties.

You may suggest both overarching themes and formats, as well as specific aspects you would like us to consider for existing events.
